Talked to his primary care this morning, she said "yes, bring him in and lets have a look" so off we go. And now we are back... with migrane meds for him and an anti- nausea one to take as needed since there has been a little bit of that. She gave him some sample meds to try and a script for two different ones to see what works best for him. She also did the dr. note for school. She says let him rest and recover - the note covers all of this week - but includes permission to return sooner if he feels up to it.
And of course wants us to still talk with the other dr. and see what she has to say about the Accutane interaction. She also she ran him through a bunch of nerological tests - hand/eye coordination, sensation on skin, reflexs and such, looked at his eyes... ruled out additional nureo issues. So all that looks good.
The migrane meds seem to be helping. Either that or he is just determined to be chipper. We did a stop for food supplies at WholePaycheck on the way home and he hug out in the shade, which he liked. He is now hole up in his room with a weeks (er... normal persons week) worth of food - whihc in a teenage boy will last the day.
All in all things feel okay and looking up even. I have nummy food, laundry rolling, good book to read, and the day off... and a boss who totally groks "kid" issues! all hail... er... which ever one(s) helped with this. And many thanks to everyone for their prayers and good thoughts - it helps bunches! You guys are the best!
