Doctor Who
I needed something else to get addicted to, honestly I did. Doctor Who should keep me occupied for quite a while, especially with the hunting through the internet to find episodes until I can get my hands on DVDs (when those even exist). But I'm running into a problem:
I hate all his companions.
That's not true. But so far, I tend to hate at least one secondary character in every incarnation of the Doctor. Or else I dislike his personality, but I can deal with that.
Right now I'm in love with the 11th doctor, and Amy and Rory are fun and enjoyable. However, I'm stuck trying to find episodes to watch because I (%#*@ HATE River Song. She's condescending and annoying and controlling towards the man who eventually (apparently) will marry her. If she wasn't involved at all, I could easily love the show. Sheesh, she won't even let him wear the hats he likes.
Most of the past companions annoyed me, but not consistently. Rose's eyebrows and the random romance undertones were really the annoyances from her; the romance bits with Martha were equally annoying. What little I've seen of Romana and Peri made me hate the two of them pretty hard, Peri moreso for being a complete annoying twit. Romana was meh. Jamie (sp?) seems like he was a fun companion, mostly because he holds his own against the doctor, but I've only seen part of one episode with him so I can't really tell.
Huh. I'm a little too focused on this. Meh. Needed a new hobby.
Also, they should market a Pandorica backup harddrive.
