I haven't been around for a while. It's been oh so busy. The kids started back to school, and with one in middle school this year, my schedule is even more hectic. The oldest starts and finishes school later than the others, so I'm dripping off, picking up, and doing homework in two batched. Every. Single. Day. It's fun, but I always feel rushed

How about they find you and the gorilla happily eating corn or bananas or whatever together and if they can greet the gorilla correctly, they can come and join the party. There is a special way to greet a gorilla so they treat you as part of their pack right? You can make that another thread. If they can't greet the gorilla correctly they get chased off to try all over again :P

Heehee. I like that idea. We actually just finished watching (or re-watching in my case) the Disney animated version of Tarzan, which is probably why I have gorillas on the brain. Yeah, body language is huge with gorillas. I could totally use that! Thanks!!

Thanks. My intentions are certainly good. I just hope my execution is equally good. So far, I'm pleased. It's getting complicated, though. I can see how this could easily get out of hand if I let it.

---They steal a helicopter and rescue you from the top of the Empire State Building.
---They play soothing music through a PA system until the gorilla falls asleep
---They dress up in gorilla suits and challenge the gorilla to a cage match
---They leave a trail of sedative-laced bananas around and tie his feet together when he's asleep.

I'm not creative enough to give you any kind of suggestions, but your idea is SOOOO cool. Those kids are extremely lucky to have you and your imaginative creations. Good luck putting them all together.
