Week 6
They still don't give us much to go on, but at least we got to see labs from first 4 weeks. My enzymes have shown a continual decline with a total drop of 130 points. Even though my liver feels like its 3 times its normal size, these numbers indicate that it is fairly happy. Even my liver functions look pretty darned good. Hgb and counts are low but that comes with the territory.
All Jen would say was ' this is very encouraging'. So no big high fives or champagne party yet - but we couldn't help feeling a little bit hopeful.
I mean seriously, if you're gonna get your ass kicked, make it for something worthwhile. We have to try to find some perseverance in the 'no news is good news' approach, which believe me, is no easy task. Bascially, what we're learning, is that I won't hear from them unless they tell me to stop. It's research, no bone for this doggie.
