To recap....
1 week of anitbios for strep
Trip to ER over the weekend AFTER I discovered the pharmacy had dispensed the WRONG meds....I took double strength Lisinopril for 5 days....a series of upper back, left-sided pain turned into scary deep chest pains on Sunday morning...have been recovering from the linebacker that broadsided me in that little episode.
This morning @ 0730 I get a call from Jen at UC that I'm still alive in the trial recruitment. She talked to the sponsor in Belgium and for several reasons, one being that they don't have any partial responders in their trial group, and secondly, since the uric acid was the only value out of place (and very minorly out of range), they agreed to redraw the bloodwork.
So, I have to go to Denver for 1 tube of blood.
I leave this afternoon, will spend the night at Heather's, get up and go to UC in the morning for a draw, then head back home. 600+ miles for less than 5 minutes of labs.
~shrug~ i guess this is going to be the way it is in my crazy life for a while.
God give me strength.
