Pretty dang clueless, apparently ... I remember Hubby was frustrated with this chapter because he thought I painted Obi-Wan a little too inept.

With all the times Obi has been Gary Stu-ish killing off the nifty bad guys we really want to live, he deserves a little human downtime, lol!

It's true! Also, he was a total doofus with human relationships in TPM. I figure there had to be a learning curve. (This is it.)

Haha, it's true, the Jedi don't come off terribly well here. But I felt that was fair, since this is the same Council that tried to intimidate a nine-year-old boy. I doubt they've experienced much personal growth in the last six-and-a-half years ...
