Don't look now, but I'm feeling pretty smug.

I got up this morning and made these. I'm feeling rather pleased with them. But I still need a pic of Obi-Wan (or at least of the actor) with enough skin showing to write on. He's all covered up in Star Wars, so I've not been able to make an Obi graphic in the same style.

Also, I need a "face" for Makesh Aravel. Any thoughts?

Whoa, is that seriously Ewan McGregor? That is so not Obi-Wan! I'm imagining Evinne's reaction right now.

I think maybe if I cropped just a bit, so he's not showing quite so much, it could work ... Thanks! :)

You're welcome --- off to write about Alabama!

Again?! Have mercy. You're appallingly productive. Puts me to shame.

I feel strongly that you should mention Sparky's, even though I'm reasonably certain it's irrelevant. I'm having cravings.

Wow, Van Damme. He certainly looks good. And you're right, he has generally played laconic roles. Plus, he is unarguably athletic. Do you think he might be too recognizable?

I'll leave that entirely up to you --- I can only say I've only seen maybe 2 movies of his! And maybe 2 or 3 of Steven Segal, another one who sprang to mind ...

Oh. Um. My childhood viewings might've been atypical in this sense? I'm pretty sure we watched all of them at some point.

My parents approved of violence in television.

I guess he was in violent movies, but not bloody ones, if I recall? Just lots of athleticism; I could be wrong.

Well, one of them was called Bloodsport. But they weren't terribly graphic, it's true. My dad was big into karate until his health problems started, and he always liked to see martial arts well done. He's a big Maul fan for the same reason.

But if you look at my parents' repertoire, it includes a lot of movies where the heroes sort of take out everybody in their path. I mean, The Man with No Name trilogy is not all about the peaceful solutions.

The link worked once and now tries to redirect me; maybe that sofeminine.co.uk site has interface problems? But apparently they have a really large selection of celebrity pics.

It's asked me each time if I really really wanted to go there, and I just clicked and it went there --- yes there's oodles of pictures and the name of the site is kinda cute.

So it has trust issues? It doesn't think you really mean it? How funny. I thought it must just be my browser, but I guess not.

Yeah, isn't it? Although it sounds vaguely like an underwear brand. Speaking of, finding discarded underwear on the sidewalk is GROSS. What are people thinking?

That is the definition of gross.

It icked me out so much when I stumbled over them this morning that when I got back home, I went straight to the shower. Hubby says it's hardly necessary to shower just because of your feet, but I was wearing flip-flops and there was an eww factor I couldn't deny. *

*shudder* I really don't want to know what they were even doing there.

Let's be generous and say they fell out of a laundry basket. I live not far from a laundromat and there is often laundry *that fell out of a pickup, maybe? otherwise how could it get outside of a car* alongside the road.
