now what?!
Had phone call after phone call this afternoon from the peeps out shooting in London. Have decided Hannah is not only rampant but slightly predatory as well. I don't think there's a man (straight or otherwise) on the main production that she doesn't fancy. And she's got DM's phone number now. There'll be no stopping her.
Apparently he called her whilst she was on the train to London, but due to the black spot created by the tunnel they were going through she got an answer phone message. And then proceeded to squee and flail about like a mad thing. Calming down, she text him so as not to appear rude and got a message back signed DM x. She's now convinced he's going to propose. Personally, I think she should pass his number on to me as I am the reason she's got it but it appears I'm shit out of luck.
I was also asked to track down a well known childrens show's production office number as my guys wanted to film in their garden and were offering a trade. We knew the kids show had a very large and iconic prop from the main programme and were prepared to offer that and the star in exchange for their green space. Seems they took us up on it as one of the 68,000 phone calls I had from them this afternoon included telling me that a load of kids had spotted them in the garden and were now hanging around outside waiting to ambush them. I think our guys and DM were hunkering down amidst the daffodils for a good fifteen minutes before deeming it safe enough to come out.
Thankfully Hannah's idea for jumping out of a cake for DM's birthday tomorrow was vetoed by Mark. Unfortunately he also vetoed my idea of wrapping myself up in just a shiny red ribbon and has consequently lumped me in the same category as Hannah (rampant). Can't think why, I only fancy DM and not most of the art department. Or most of the directors. Oh, and Giovanni from facilities who is apparently incredibly hot. Not to mention Dan the editor. Or the other myriad of men she's mentioned over the last *counts fingers* five and a bit months I've been here (has it really been that long?!)
And to top it all off I watched a drama about a house in Scotland that's haunted and am now shitting my pants, too afraid to go to bed and too knackered to stay up much longer. Make them go away!!
