Girls' Night
I had a great time at M's "Girls' Night" party! We did a clothing swap (we brought clothes we didn't wear anymore and traded them for things other people didn't wear anymore,) which was so good for me. People encouraged me to try on things I would never have had the courage to try on my own (thanks, girls!) Now, I have a whole assortment of new girly clothes!
I've never been overly girly. I do shop almost exclusively in the women's department now (which I didn't do years ago,) so I guess even that's a change for me. I don't really wear dresses much. I hate heels. I don't carry a purse. I carry a wallet in my back pocket like a man.
I feel like I'm totally reinventing myself. It's mostly the weight loss. I feel cute. I feel like I can wear cute things!
