I'm fairly convinced you'll find exactly what it is that you're looking for down in Austin. I could see that in all ways you were not comfortable with inner-city life in Philadelphia, and while I'm glad you came out to visit my little piece-le-boheme in Manhattan and did not think East Village was the devil itself, I fully understood when you told me that it was just not home, I don't hold that against you in the slightest bit. Also, as you well know, I'll be in Austin in the first week of September (exact date pending production time, and you know how hectic and unpredictable the studio can be.)

Glad you kept that coat because come January I'm dragging you back out to Manhattan for the premiere of the show. Which may or may not flop...Who knows...But it is a viable excuse for you to be dragged kicking and screaming back to New York.
Also, the same will be said for summer, when the theatrical release occurs at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Hey, look on the bright side, at least the weather is bearable out where you're headed, you're out of the concrete oven and sweltering levels of polluted smog-humidity and subway vents that will, if given a few seconds, melt rubber from your shoes. And, you'll have plenty of electricity and a decent A/C setup (Which far surpasses my grated window unit, of which I am very jealous)
And most importantly, it will give you the thing you want. A chance to grow for you, to reflect and build towards what you want.
I know you don't need it, but good luck out there, and you know exactly where I am if you ever need anything.
Keep this a mind as well, if you ever doubt your decision.
803 Shootings in Philly in nine months. Five of which were on friends of ours. (Well, multiple times each.) And remember that's a main reason you wanted out. Remember that in five months I had a knife, and two guns pulled on me and you couldn't walk to work alone. You're going someplace peaceful, relaxing and very nice. Keep in mind how much better you're about to have it.
