the ride home :(
so we woke up late...really late, got on the road at about 7...i took the first shift of driving, and i drove to blythe cali, my grandma fell asleep so i got to drive up to about 90/95 mph, istead of her 80, and this stupid probe kept on cutting in front of me and slowing down, so i finally got around it, but it did it again, so i finally just floored it and got ahead of it for good, it was so nice when we crossed the border at 9 am, we were making pretty good time, all things considering, so then my grandma took the next turn and we were headed towards LA, we stopped to get gas just outside of riverside, and then i started driving again, we made it onto the 210 pretty easily, and there wasn't any traffic, i drove through the grapevine and all the way to button willow, then the trouble started, after we got a late lunch, my grandma took the last shift of driving home, we were following this honda accord from el cerrito, who was going about 65 mph. my grandma was tailing him for about an hour or so before he got pissed enough to speed up, then slow down, speed up, then slow down, so when he finally got over, my grandma saw that he was smoking, and the only reason that he was slowing down was to let his kids make the "honk your horn" motion at the trukers. so she goes, "jessica flip him off!!" and i go, "NO!" and she goes "DO IT!!"' so i covered my face and did it, while she was also flipping him off yelling some retty profaine comments about him...haaha then we were almost home and we finally caught up with the stop and go traffic, we were following this mustang that had a reallly hott guy driving, he kept on weaving and my grandma was sick of waiting so she just followed him, so they had a little alliance going, it as quite funny, well my grandma got tired of driving so we stopped off, and the mustang guy did too, and then we still had our alliance, so finally when traffic got thinner, my grandma said to let him pass on my right, so i did, and he waved and she held up a pad of paper with huge numbers...my cell number, i was like "GRANDMA!!" oh my god that was so embarassing, turns out he was from pleasanton too...great i'll probably see him around...lol
after i got home i went and picked up chey and alyse and we went to qzar to get my check, sean was too cool to say anything to us, but eric waved and mike chatted with us for a while, and charlie came out and said hello, i didn't miss it in pleasanton at all, too rainy, i did miss the people tho, switch the atmospheres and im good.
later on i got to go see all my friends, they had this little "get together" thing to say welcome back, it was fun, i got to show off my tan, and we took pics and had pizza and stuff, watched a movie, it was fun :)
after i got home i went and picked up chey and alyse and we went to qzar to get my check, sean was too cool to say anything to us, but eric waved and mike chatted with us for a while, and charlie came out and said hello, i didn't miss it in pleasanton at all, too rainy, i did miss the people tho, switch the atmospheres and im good.
later on i got to go see all my friends, they had this little "get together" thing to say welcome back, it was fun, i got to show off my tan, and we took pics and had pizza and stuff, watched a movie, it was fun :)
