Emotionally exhausting day
The morning was spent frantically gathering the last of the stuff they tell pregnant ladies to bring with them to the hospital when they check in to have the baby, because mayumi was having contractions.
We spent the day anxiously with her going back and forth from observation, until they decided it was a false labor and sent us home, after i had cancelled work for the day.
Called my boss, arranged to finish my later classes up, and headed to work.
Was passed by an old man on the way to the platform, who GROWLED at me in English "Go back home."
It took me a minute to register what he'd actually said
Then I went from cheerful if exhausted, to exhausted and depressed. I know he's an old man, and that attitude is much less common among younger people... Hell, I expected to get more of it than I usually do when I came here. But it was like... An emotional kick to the balls after a stressful day. I almost cried.
