need to consolidate
i own too much crap! so this past weekend i went to indiana, one of the three states in which some of my personal belongings were residing...i have gathered most of my assorted and disperesed things from PA and WI into one place here in WI, but the majority of it has still been in my ex's house in south bend...for the past two years! clearly, this is not stuff that is very critical for my daily existence...i have lived with out it for this long, why do i really need it? good freaking question!!
i stood in my former house basement staring at the mountains of boxes labled books, books, books (clearly i have too many books but i just do not know if i can part with them...which is then coutner to the point of this all...ugh! i know!! i am helpless! back to the mountain of boxes)...and knick knacks, and just general junk...i have no idea where to even go with all of this stuff...i dont need it, but so much is really just sentimental, to sit in storage until some unknown date when i have a bigger place to put it all someplace?
so, for the next how many days i am going to sit through boxes of my life, look at what i have saved, pieces of the past, and decide how much it all means to me and my life now.
