Update
Ok...it's update time!
Things for the wedding are going very well. In less than 3 weeks, I shall be married! We moved everything into the new apartment (Becky moves in today, I move in after the honeymoon). So I now have a nice comfy air mattress to hold me over :D
On another note, I went to Wes and Riva's wedding yesterday. It was very pleasant. After the nice ceremony (which we are using some of their ideas for our own wedding), we went aboard the Duc D'Orleans II for the reception. So a nice 2 hour reception cruise starting in Sarnia. It was a fun time for sure!
Becky and I are now Youth leaders for the Jr's (Grade 6-8). Please pray that we lead these kids well. They're a wonderful group of kids, and we look forward to working with them more. I found a wonderful youth resource online that is free, and we have been getting games from that. I will probably start perusing that site more as September hits, the wedding will be over, and the number of Jr Youth that are there will double...so as to get a nice lesson plan going.
And finally:
My friend Steph sent me this link. It is a skit done to Lifehouse's 'Everything'. It is a beautiful skit, and I found it an excellent representation of spiritual warfare. I've watched it several times, and find it hard to keep dry eyes watching it. Feel free to let me know what you think.
