Gah I can't move at all right now...It even hurst to type. Yesterday was the Northeast Science Bowl, put on by the School of Engineering Diversity Program...aka my advisor and the head of the BRIDGE program. So therefore I got to spend 7hrs on Friday (3pm to 10 pm)helping set up rooms in both ITEB(Information Technology Engineering Building) and the SOB (School of Business)(hehe) so we got to unload a truck into ITEB then carry 11 tables to SOB including figuring out how to fit them in the elevator. I carried at least five so my arms are protesting. Then I got to spend hours setting up buzzer systems and taping all the wires to the floor which involved some very creative set ups.
Yesterday was the day of competition...up at 7am there by 7:30. Ran around trying to finish setting up all the stuff we didn't do last night....team tags in 2 rooms bringing chairs to the huge lecture hall (C80) cause we forgot them. I was the score keeper in C80 so yay being on my feet all day. Then I had to bring students to a tour....which Mr Scanlon went on and I saw him a couple of times. Then one room lost the score sheets for the Wildcard round. NFA got its ass kicked and EO Smith kids won and definitely deserved it. I couldn't have answered any of the questions. Then it was the fun task of packing everything up again. I also got the job of locking up the SOB and checking all the rooms for stuff left behind.(Yay master keys to both ITEB and SOB) We finished around 8:30 and therefore I didn't get to hit Chuck n Augies with mu friends...grrr.
