Mist really has her work cut out for her to try to get the Lakeborns to accept that the Fireborn amongst them isn't some evil person bent on harming them. Hopefully enough will liestn that she can get the person away. But then, anyone who disappears or goes off will be assumed to be the Fireborn, so they wouldn't be able to return to the village without being under suspicion wouldn't they? Or would they be leaving forever if they did go off for training?

It sure doesn't seem like this town would be comfortable with someone who is openly fireborn living among them. Thankfully, not all towns are so fearful.

As to how much Mist can change these people's minds and behavior, well, that remains to be seen.

Heheh it is always the boys fault from the perspective of the girl and vice versa, isn't it:) I am waiting to see who will turn out to be the fireborn and how you will find a way to protect them from the prejudice of their group.
