Until rather late Thursday evening, I thought the plan was for me to wait until Halloween weekend. The boy child had been sick and Master was just getting back to work. But he decided he wanted me there that weekend instead. Not one to ignore a summons, I packed a bag and made plans to leave around lunch time the next day. And, as usual, Friday I arrived later than intended. I didn't take into account Friday evening rush hour. Once I got "home" it was just some reconnecting and visiting. Mostly.
Saturday afternoon we went out for lunch and I got to experience a first. Or at least a first that I recall...Indian food. We hit a buffet and after having Ms Kat explain and recommend, I filled a plate full of some very interesting looking food. It was pretty good, some of it better than other and I didn't have anything that I just hated. I loved the flat bread and the tea was really good too. Not something I'll want to indulge in frequently, but it was a nice change of pace.
After lunch we stopped by Walgreen's for some Halloween goodies and hair color for me. Ms Kat bought some spray on red stuff along with some nail polish and I got a color I used to put on my hair a few years ago. I expressed concern that it would come out darker than we wanted, but we decided to try it anyway. By the time we got home I didn't feel like I had time to color my hair and us still leave for our night out when we wanted to, so I borrowed the spray on stuff instead.
So Saturday evening Ms Kat and I dressed up nice and went out to get scared. Our plan was to do a tour of Elmwood Cemetery and then hit up some haunted houses. We got a little later start than intended and also ran into traffic so we got there after twilight. But we still had a great time. The costumes were wonderful and the actors really got into their roles. I completely lost track of time and was surprised to find that we had spent nearly 2 hours on the tour. By this time we were both hungry and after checking in with the Master we stopped at Micky-Ds for some munchies. While we were downtown Ms Kat showed me one of Impact's former homes and we went down by the river so I could get a picture of the "M bridge" which was really pretty all lit up. We drove past Beale Street and decided that we definitely needed to do the ghost tour that went through that part of town on a future visit.
I saw something that just astounded me. One of the "things to do" in downtown is horse drawn carriage rides. We passed a carriage with a young couple in it. He seemed to be having a conversation with the driver and she looked like she was texting on her cell phone. I would hate to think that I could be that insensitive and if I had been the one to plan and pay for the ride, I'd have kicked her butt out of the carriage. I'd love to do something like that and the night was just cool enough that it would have been perfect to snuggle up really close with your companion. In fact, my dirty little mind wandered off track a bit as I imagined going on such a ride and being snuggled up under a blanket with a special someone. Or two. I can think of several fun things to get up to under cover of a blanket. Delicious, wicked things. *sigh*
Ahem. Anyway. After refueling we set out on the search for the home grown haunted house that Ms Kat particularly wanted to visit. We didn't have time for more than one and the one she wanted to take me to was run out of someone's home. An interesting idea and I was very curious to see how they did it. Turns out the "scary stuff" was actually in the back yard but it was still awesome. Somebody did a lot of screaming and tried to run but I don't really run that well so I slowed us down a bit. There were a few good startles and it was a bunch of fun. We were both completely out of breath from laughing and scrambling by the time we made it to the car....I haven't had that much silly fun in a long time.
We went through Taco Bell's drive-thru to pick up some munchies for Master and while we were in line saw something that got to both of us. A stray cat. The lady at the window said she was going to take it home with her when she got off work and I think both of us said a little prayer that it survived that long. Back home Ms Kat and I both took showers to wash the spray on color out. It looked good on both of us but every time we touched it the color rubbed off. I put on a cute nightie and went to check in with Master and she curled up in bed. I ended up watching a movie with him and cuddling while she went to bed.
Despite getting to bed very late (or very early) I was up before 11 Sunday morning. I went into the living room so I wouldn't disturb Sir and plopped down on the foot stool to brush out my hair. Ms Kat sat behind me and briefly played with my hair before disappearing. The next thing I know I'm being pulled back into Master's lap. He pets me a bit, plays with my hair, strokes my face.
Then he starts rubbing my neck. Putting his hands just so and squeezing. He takes my breath away and I could happily lay there for hours. Then he picks up my hair again, running it through his fingers and asking if I know what such lovely hair can be used for. Apparently it makes a great garrote. And I don't mean the d.o.t. Rogue spell in WoW either. Wrapping my own hair around my neck is something I never considered but it was so intense, so hot. I got so into it that I even loosened my grip on his arms. All too soon he stops and sits me up. Tells me to go back to the bedroom and get naked, if I can make it that far. He teasingly asks if my feet are even touching the ground and I replied that I wasn't sure.
Once in the bedroom I quickly strip and stretch out on the bed, once he has everything arranged to suit him. Working on my back with a cane and my bottom with paddles, he has me squirming in no time. I haven't been a fan in the past of having my back beaten but the quick cane strokes he applies is quite intense and I really enjoyed it. I guess the rhythm makes a big difference. It leaves my back warm to the touch, even hours later. The hard paddle blows leave my bottom sore and slightly bruised...by the time he's done I'm so deeply spaced all I can do is sigh and wiggle a bit. I'm even too far gone at that moment to appreciate the toy he rubs against me. I enjoy the sensations and his touch, but there just isn't going to be an orgasm. It all seems a bit distant and I'm obviously not getting there so he gives up and just cuddles me. I pout to Ms Kat that he's laughing at me but she corrects me and tells me that he's not really, he's just pleased with my reactions. So I snuggle up to him and as I come back down a bit ask for a blanket. He wraps me up tightly and pets me for a bit but all too soon I have to get up and get dressed.
I may be up but I'm still feeling stoned so I eat a bite of lunch and come mostly back to earth before getting ready to head home. Quite an interesting weekend, lots of visiting and a couple of different adrenaline rushes. I loved going out with Ms Kat and getting spooked. She has an interesting perspective on haunted houses, something I never really considered before. She is of the opinion that the people who put on these fright fests, who jump out at you and make you scream, are basically sadists. And those of us running the gauntlet? We're obviously masochists. Same endorphins as bdsm play, just a different way to get them pumping. I think she's onto something there.
