Two weeks in
Tomorrow afternoon will mark two weeks since I moved here. I'm going to take a stab at writing about my life now.
Mornings I get up, sometimes early, sometimes mid-morning. I eat breakfast. Afterwords I go online to check on the interwebs. Some days I go out and about; I'm still exploring Huntsville. By 3pm I'm at West in training. My trainer is named Juan Maldonado; I imagine his name as belonging to a ball player from the Dominican Republic, "Batting cleanup for the Braves, Juan Maldonado." There was twenty-eight of us, I think one woman has fallen ill and dropped out. I feel like I can do this job. I'm a lot more confident about this job than when I started the one at Convergys. After work I head back to my friend's place; I still haven't heard about the apartment. I watch video or TV, check up my e-mail, maybe read, and so to bed.
