Friends Only
I have massively slashed my friends list. I have probably unfriended people I didn't mean to unfriend. The problem is, I have been away from LJ so long I really can't remember your user name vs. your real name that I probably know you elsewhere. For all I know we are BFF on Facebook but I don't remember that xjblorpblorp is your LJ name.
If that is the case, send me a message and let me know. I just really want to write here again and I need to write while knowing who is here. Otherwise I can't write. And don't tell me about filters. I know all about them, and well, who has the time to bother?
I get that over the last several years many people have filtered ME out of their real posts because I haven't been around. I understand why, but for some reason it still hurts my feelings. So, in some cases I have unfriended those people too because, well, if you don't want me to see your stuff then how can I feel safe writing mine? Maybe we'll come together again. I don't know. I'm just sayin'. I'm dipping my toes again and if you don't trust me, that tells me I shouldn't trust you.
