Am I accurately reporting what I see in such a blossom?
The answer is no ... and yes.

* * * * *

I know photographs of flowers are, um, common, to say the least. But one could argue everything beautiful is common. And isn't that the most beautiful part, that lovely things are everywhere? Flowers are common and rare at the same time because even though every week or so the riot of flowers changes types, you only see crocuses or daffodils or tulips or apple tree blossoms or irises or sunflowers at certain times of the year. So while I can still go outside right now and with a little looking find an entire roadside full of irises, they are fleeting. Abundant and fleeting.

Besides I can't help myself.
