attachment, king arthur, piano concert
just got back from the Piano Ensemble Concert. Wow. They really had big names there; for instance, Dick Lee played 4 songs including Fried Rice Paradise which I really liked, and even the US Ambassador came down to watch. Haha but I went cos of Wei Teen lah, wouldn't have gone if she didn't ask me to. Saw folks like Christabel, Cassandra, and Annette performing too. Oh just found out Annette is their Chair. Nice music. Went with Huay Ching and Shawn and met a handful of other pple there as well.
Anyway it's been a *different* kind of week. This morning went to Stamford. Now I understand why people go all out to enjoy their weekends. Ha it was Gary, the dept manager's last day. Exactly 4 years to the day. which means 2000 was a LONG time ago. Anyway I met Amelia and JR for lunch at Bugis Sakae Sushi at 1.30. It was quite crowded and that's partly good cos it means the food keeps coming and it's hot. I ate A LOT (in line with my new goal), like I 4 plates of stuff and a bowl of Tsukini Udon (raw egg in e soup, really nice) and a Melon Twist drink. Then we watched King Arthur. DON'T waste your time unless u enjoy medieval warfare. Arrgghh haha but at least it had action. Ok to kill time lah but my suggestion is don't waste your money. The music was good though.
Yup by the time it ended was 4.30 and by the time I got back was 5.20 so I changed and went to meet HC and Shawn at Parkway, where we had dinner with Huiling, Yanying and their friend at Pastamania! Mind you I was still feeling a bit full. Anyway I had fuscilini with chicken sausage.. the same one I had last time I was there.. yumm, Shawn ordered the crispy cheese fuscilini and we swapped quite a lot, it was DELICIOUS! but if i had ordered it it would have been overkill cos I can't take such a creamy dish.. we got Wei teen cookies :)
