I'm fine! There is no pain and only mild swelling. i took 2 painkillers last night tts all. hope this continues. only thing is my mouthwash tastes bad. I have to not rinse it out with water for like half an hour and it made me feel really nauseaus this morning.

ive had strawberry milk, heinz chicken broth and whipped potatoes. yummy. i also got a mini jar of baby food to try for fun but it STINKS i can't believe parent feed their children that. maybe it's the flavour.

then again, there must be a reason for the MC being 5 days long. I think the reaction and recovery depends on a case by case basis; from the forums some people have really bad swelling and can't eat for days. i read some horror stories about people going under General Anaesthetic (go to sleep kind) where they wake up feeling nauseaus cos of the medication and they throw up and rip their stitches and wah you can just imagine lah. LA was not as bad as it was made out to be. my dentist says the best time to have them removed (it is a preventive measure - my unc scoffs at this cos he still has his in his mouth and they don't give him trouble) is between 17 and 24 because the bone is still flexible and not set into the jaw or something liddat.. my mum told me about an indian collegue of hers whose face was really swollen for weeks after her op.

must attribute my recovery to
good faith in the Lord
and good body preparation
i went in fully believing that things would be fine.
oh yes and a good (slightly sadistic~haha) dentist Dr Poon

had some paranoia about 'dry socket'. the blood clot must not get ripped out (so can't drink through straws), otherwise the wound will be exposed i think and that could led to a nerve infection or some painful condition.

yeah and even tho i think i can actually manage some soft noodles i'm not gonna risk getting food stuck in the holes!! *squeamish*
