We're going to the chapel
So I know I have seriously neglected the lovely world of livejournal, but there is important news to share! Larry and I are getting married. He proposed to me by the Christmas tree while we celebrated Christmas just the two of us on the 20th before spending the next night with my mom and Christmas with his family in Vermont. The planning is in full swing. The date has officially been set as December 27th (yes, I know it's two days after Christmas) with a winter theme (obviously), but we want to have fun with it. We've got an appointment with a reception site close to the church this week, and if the price is right, that's where we'll have it (conveniently located off of I-64). The wedding is going to be mostly handled in house (decorations and some other things....any ideas for cool wintery centerpieces??? I'm all ears!), but the big things are going to be left to the professionals. I'm writing this now so all of you loyal readers may mark the date on your calendars as to hopefully plan accordingly when it comes to Christmas plans!
There has been so much going on lately! We've got school stuff taking up a ton of time, but then there was MRD Reunion weekend a little while back! That was so much fun, but I, in my cheap state, opted to drive back to Staunton each night sacrificing crucial time with the funsters. However, the time that was spent together was quite a bit of fun, with the usual amount of laughter and STD talk behind some random JMUers. Who knew syphillis sticks could be so much fun? Anyway, I'm headed to bed at this point, but hope that all is well with anyone who may still read this. Good night, all!
