breaking dawn=fail

thoughts.

So I finished about an hour ago, in just under 24 hours.

Wow, it was SO bad. I don't even understand how it is possible to reach this level of ridiculous. I am SO glad I was spoiled going into it. Even though I was hoping it wasn't true.

I'm not too disappointed, thank god. The fail actually really amuses me, and it has its good aspects. But the plot is just so ridiculous. Oh, Nessie. I'm all for throwing her out the window.

So, basically SMeyer managed to negate everything from the three previous books with this masterpiece. She completely negated J/B and I really really did not like Jake very much after he imprinted on the mutant spawn. But his POV before all that was super fun to read.

UGH. I think I'm gonna return it. So fail.

But I actually had a lot of fun at the release party. I bought New Moon at target before-hand. because having the one twilight series book i own be breaking dawn? nuh-uh.

the casheir at target put my book in the bag for me, and after i left i noticed this random squirt bottle that i totally DID not pay for.

it was named nessie. and decorated. she is the most beautiful creation on the planet.

but so anyway my friends and i won a new moon trivia contest/drawing, for which we won chocolate and cupcakes and a cheap ring.

i bonded with some team jacob people (kind of) but they were very hard to find.

we sat around for awhile reading this book called "the 50 creepiest love songs" or something. it entertained.

and even though i'd already read the scans, i re-read 1-14 with my friends. i wasn't about to tell them i already knew what would happen. i am apparently the slowest reader.

anyway, i pulled an all nighter and didn't sleep for about 12 hours. slept from 1 pm to about 6 pm today. woke up, finished reading and i didn't even finish the sucker til about 1 am. hence, 24 hours. now i'm not tired. fuck.

so, um. i cannot wait to see this shit thrown back in SMeyer's face. take that.

ramblings
