I'm home....
One thing that I really did miss about being here...my shower! Well, I guess it's our shower since I have to share it with my little sister. But either way, it's so much better than the Rollins dorm showers!
I think I'm taking being here at home a lot better this time around. I don't completely understand why, but I really do feel like I am. Maybe God's just working on my ability to be more content and grateful for what I have, instead of complaining about what I'm missing. I mean, a lot of times I really do struggle with what I feel I'm missing out on. I'm missing out on my own exclusively personal room (and real bed) at home...lots of other things that I probably shouldn't type in so I don't dwell on that.
I guess that's exactly what makes all the difference--dwelling on gratitude rather than discontenment, thanking God rather than whining to Him. I wish it was always this easy, but, God, I guess this is just something that I need to work out with You one-on-one, EVERY DAY.
