Two things
It is now official: I lost my mind. I just booked a trip to NYC. I'll leave in three weeks tomorrow.
I had an offer for a permanent position again today. It caught me off-guard and I said no without thinking about it. Then I thought about it, and my reasonable self told me off for not even considering the offer. So I might tell them tomorrow that I might be interested after all, depending on - you guessed it - the pay. I'll be broke when I return from New York, there will be no way around working full time anyway.
