Heady: adjective
-(of liquor) potent; intoxicating: 'several bottles of local heady wine', etc.
-having a strong or exhilarating effect: 'the heady days of the birth of the women's movement', 'a heady perfume', etc.

It's not that commonly used, and I'm surprised you're the first person to comment, but yeah, it's meant to be 'heady'. c: I use a lot of mildly obscure words, at times, because I try to describe things in a very sensory manner, and language leans less and less towards that, these days.
