The best thing you can do is post your story on here. I never went to casa, so all I know about it is second-hand, but some of the others here have, and it would be good to be able to compare notes.

And, yes, it could have been worse, it could have been Jamaica or High Impact, but Casa was really bad in it's own right with the hobbit and all. I heard Casa food was bad, too.

yea.. i went to high impact for 4 months. went in with diagnosis of borderline personality disorder only. when i left i was diagnosed as... borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, pscizzo effective disorder, and a few more. i still have horrible nightmares and flashbacks even though i went there in 2001 it stays with me to this day.i am now prescribed a medications that usualy only veterans get. thats how bad my flashbacks are and nightmares.i rarely sllep through the night. have night terrors constantly. and cry every time i see photos and videos of high impact. cuz it takes me back to everything. yea so it could have been worse. at least you didn't have to endure the abuse and neglect of high impact. my name is liz weaver and you can reach me at lizzardemw@yahoo.com. would love to talk to you guys.

A lot of people that come out of the program have PTSD, myself included.
I heard Casa was a nightmare, like every other of the programs...I am from TB, the worst of all. :( (Perhaps besides Samoa, but that's long since been shut down.) Anyway I hope things get better for you. Do you have nightmares? I have them almost every night. Every night I sleep, anyway.
