Although Ben was an easy-going and pretty laid-back sort of professor, the events surrounding last Friday's talent show played in his mind. Blame his Auror training; even if he wasn't currently practicing as one, his instincts seemed to follow the "once an Auror, always an Auror" mentality. The Morsmordre imitation was well-set if not well-crafted, choosing a well-populated hall to be displayed in as well as a good crowd to lose oneself. Something told him that the mysterious gifts of the previous months could be involved, even if it seemed they were entire unrelated.
But as age and years had given him experience, none of his thoughts formed on his face, and he kept a pleasant disarming smile on his face, watching the last of his students arrive. The Morsmordre might be brought up in Chloe's classes, but it didn't have much being in transfiguration and that was his subject.
