Daphne felt a mild sense of relief when Professor Wu announced that they were taking a break from I Ching. It was an important subject for their NEWTs, obviously, but it had been growing a bit tedious in the past few weeks. At the mention of having a 'good eye' and 'intuition', Daphne smirked satisfactorily to herself. She had long cultivated an ability in intuition!
However, she had not cultivated much interest in Ailuromancy. Or cats, in general, actually. She ignored the cat that Professor Wu indicated entirely, and her whole demeanor slowly shifted into one of elegant boredom. She did hope that this was such an easy subject that they'd at least be let out early. A cat's movements were hardly something Daphne believed had much bearing on the sorts of Divination she was interested in. What could a cat tell her about the movements of the Dark Lord? Or about her own destiny?
She sighed, but pulled out her parchment and quill and prepared to take notes. Knowing Professor Wu, this would likely come up on an exam or two, if not the final NEWT exams, as well.
