Week Name: The Missing, Part 2 (2-6 October 2006)

Open To All DADA Students
Chloe was seated indian-style on the top of her desk while she waited for her students to arrive. She had given up sitting like a proper professor after the second week of classes; it was just too uncomfortable! She simply could not keep up the stuffy professor appearance, even if it was somehow required. McGonagall hadn't said it was when she'd given Chloe the post, at least. If McGonagall did find fault with anything Chloe was doing, well, she'd figure something else out, but she'd decided to try being more casual for her own sanity until the headmistress said something, and to heck with propriety!
On the board behind her, she had written the assignment for the day in brightly-coloured chalk to catch the students' attention. For the older years, she had also added their homework, though she'd forgone it for fourth years and below, figuring they were still too young to really need quite so much homework. Besides, it would be that many fewer essays that she'd have to read and mark later!
