So what now?

It now looks like I'm stuck without a place in town to live, and it's late July. What have I learned?
1- Simon Fitzstephens is a wanksock. Strangely enough, before he wasn't my landlord, he was my pretty rubbish computers teacher in school. Hadn't seen him for years, quite an odd first meeting, first tour of the house, that.
2- Late July is not a good time to be looking for a house, if you're a student.
3- Two people is not a good number of people to expect to share a house, if you're not rich.
4- I'm stressed. This is very unusual for me. Usually when something horrible happens, it's my fault, so I can internalise it and forget about it, or it soon turns out to be not actually that important, or I have time to deal with it.
5- Your feet get sore after walking around South Belfast constantly for nine hours.
6- It's good to judge people quickly from the state of their homes. One house, a five bedroom house with two rooms not filled with a 'young urban professional', I couldn't find a single hi-fi. No stereo. Few CDs, mostly free with newspapers. There was a radio in the kitchen, off, and tuned to Virgin AM. I could never trust these people.
