POST!

i have no idea how long since I last updated, but this has been brought on by several things.

This needs to be shared.   For the first time since 1991, the best selling vehicle is no longer the Ford F-series pickup.  (Yes you read that right, for the past 17 years, the best selling car in every single month has been the ford F-Series.    This May, that was beaten by not one, but four cars.  The Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.  (In that order).  Further excellent news on the automotive front... General Motors is considering selling off the Hummer brand.  I doubt this will mean no more Hummers at all, but even GM is starting to see the light (only... what 10 years too late?).

Speaking of cars, mine just got back from the shop the other day.
The damage was:
- New Clutch Flywheel
- New Clutch Kit
- New Front Brake Rotors
- Front Brake Pad set
- Rear Engine Seal

Apparently, my rear engine seal was leaking onto my clutch and caused it to burn itself up.  It's worth noting (for you car enthusiasts), that this was the original clutch (it said Honda on the back of it), with nearly 230,000 miles.  And if the engine seal hadn't started to leak, it probably would have gotten more.

In other news, for those of you not following facebook or my AIM away messages, I've finally graduated from UVA with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  I'm spending the summer in C'ville working Heritage Rep Theater Theatre Festival.  (We're not doing a Rep series this year, so it's the Heritage Theatre Festival instead.)  After that, I'm not sure what I'll be doing as I do not yet have a job.  I'm looking for jobs in either Renewable power (i.e. Solar, wind, etc.) Or space/aerospace.  I'd much prefer the space part.  I don't really want to work on designing the nav. system for the next Air Force fuel tanker, but I'd love to design a nav. system for a new space vehicle.

In all, I've been unbelievably happy of late, mostly due to the fact that I don't ever have to go back to UVA.  (for school).

Finally, as I said, I'll be in c'ville so if anyone's around and wants to hang out, gimme a call.
