Life Update....
I started work this week! Yay for being done with college and having a grown up job! Hospital orientation was boring, lots of speakers talking about stuff that doesnt really apply to me. Still waiting on the state board of nursing to send me my temporary permit ( the thing that lets me practice nursing in WV before I take the boards exam) but they are dragging their feet. Apparently I cant do any patient care without it. But the hospital still has to give me at least 36 hours a week, so I may have work a desk for a couple days til my paperwork goes through.
Teaching guard went well. Frankfort's show is on the field, dirty as hell, but its there. I have to go back out next week to help tidy some things up and tighten up some transitions. ALCO is still getting stuff on the field but I think in the end it will be a very nice product.
I'm in VA this weekend visiting Laura. I havent seen her since late April/early May. We were both so busy all summer that we could never visit each other. Speaking of summer, ITS OVER! I can't believe it, the whole summer just flew by. I stayed really busy with school and teaching. There was never a day that I didnt have something to do. I was lucky to finally get this weekend to come out to NoVA. We are going to do some shopping tonight, but I'm gonna try to take it easy since I haven't gotten paid yet from the new job. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend....
