Did anyone else see the story in the newspaper today about Marie Douglas-David, who is in the process of getting a divorce from her husband, George David, a former CEO of United Technologies Corp? Though she signed a postnuptial agreement to receive $43 million settlement in the divorce, she is saying that the amount is not enough. She is not asking for about $100 million in cash and stocks and $130,000 a month in alimony. Apparently this golddigger has expenses running around $53,800 per week, including the following:

$700-limos
$4500-clothes
$1000-hair and skin treatments
$1500-restaurants and entertainment
$8000-travel

Now this is a woman who is already a countess and owns an apartment in NYC, as well as three homes in Sweden. That huge amount of weekly alimony is more than most people make in a year!!! NYC has a very good system of public transportation. Let her walk her butt out and take a cab instead of a limo. McDonalds restaurants are abundant in Manhattan. Go eat there for a lot less than $1500. Supercuts does a very nice job with hair styling and makeup. I'm sure that doesn't cost $1000 a week!!! And Hotwire or Priceline will certainly come up with some nice travel discounts for her, I'm sure.
