(no subject)
High time for another list I feel!
Here is a list of the cool and wierd things that i have learned to cook in my Mediteranian cooking class
- Bouliabasse (spelling? some of these are French OK?)
- Pasta from scratch
- Rattatoille ( now I am SURE that is wrong... but whatever)
- Paella
- Rabbit stew
... oh look, lots. Mosy of it i can't spell. It is such a boon working in a comercial kitchen! I chat away to myself all lesson as though im a Jamie Oliver and im making a TV show. HE HE! They all think im crazy, but little do they really know... I AM crazy!
Thats just what living in a town woth a population of 7,000 does to a city gal like me!
In other news i am being head hunted by three different school for a job next year. One of the towns is somewhat bigger than the one i currently live in. It has a public pool. One is home to a fantastic farmers market and a beautiful old theatre. The third town has two classrooms and a shop which does not make coffee. Not the school, thats the whole town.
But - i have my 'this is a big adventure' hat on and it will remain firmly fixed for at least the next two years. It will be very crazy and hopefuly fun.
