yes, as the subject line says. im proud that i didn't pack as much... compared to other years ^^;; though i didn't anticipate the room being so small. lets backup, shall we?
my dad and i picked up annie yesterday morning because the night before we invited a family friend to go out for dinner with us at rockefeller center. it was super yum and we kept getting free stuff. we got a free table dish, free appetizers, sample entrees and free dessert. im so fat but it was worth it.
i drove the first 50 miles which i totally pwned. my dear annie still needs a lot of help and my diagnosis of lack of confidence was dead end as the poor girl was very nervous. i saw a lot of mistakes that my dad said I did too, like not being to keep the car straight on its road at high speeds, so it swirves. she'll get the hang of it soon. ^^
like i said, the room is small. about 1/3 smaller in length than my last dorm room. so we did a weird L-shape for the beds by raising one and lowering the other. sorry, but bunk beds scare me. my bed is high yes, but its not taller than me at least now. our suitemates are... well let's say that even though they were in all day, the doors were all closed. the middle common area is completely barren. nothing. well, one chair of mine. but otherwise, nothing! everyone has shut themselves in their rooms and there is no family feel to it. =( annie and i pulled them out for idle chatter but after that, the doors shut again. oh wells. this makes it arkward to try and make the common area comfy. so now annie and i are faced with putting everything in our tiny room. like our fridge, and all our pantry things. boohoo, i liked my last common room with cindy and christina. it was cozy and warm. ^-^
but alas a new year has started. a surprise to see familiar faces in my building but also knowing that im going to meet new people excites me. one class tomorrow bitches, bwahahahaha.
im hungy, later :o
