why is it that boston doesn't have enough good venues so that bands always play outside of boston? the palladium is getting a bunch of good shows this fall, so if anyone wants to go and can figure out a way to get there (zipcar?, commuter - depending on when the last train is?, something else) we should go.
Sep 7: I Am The Avalanche, Four Year Strong
Oct 8-9: Dashboard Confessional (SOLO!!!)
Oct 31: New Found Glory, Senses Fail, Set Your Goals
also i just found out that the solo Dashboard tour is because he's releasing a back to his roots acoustic album on Oct 2 through Vagrant, which makes me want to go that much more. kudos to Chris Carrabba for getting back to his roots and ditching his failed* attempt to make Dashboard into a full rock band.
*i wouldn't say it was a total failure as there were some songs i likes (ie Vindicated, Hands Down, Stolen, that one song on the new album that sounds like Further Seems Forever, etc).
