I stopped watching after Season 2, so I haven't seen any of Season 3. It sat on our DVR for so long, and every time we thought about watching it it seemed like a chore, so we finally decided to just let it go.

On Chuck, the main character and his handler, Sarah, (who are in love with each other but can't be together) had to move to a perfect little suburban neighborhood and pretend to be newlyweds. As they were going through the montage of Chuck arriving at the house and taking in his new pretend life (which of course he secretly yearns for but can never have with Sarah), they were playing "Once In A Lifetime". So he was walking into the house, seeing all these pretend wedding photos, photos of them on ski trips and camping trips, with their dog (who then ran by), and trying to take everything in but seeming very confused and overwhelmed by the whole thing. They played a large part of the song, so it was possibly not as pointed as the Psycho Killer thing, but there was definitely a lot of resonance with "This is not my beautiful house.... this is not my beautiful wife."

Hi there!

Gotcha. I just wanted to be sure that you knew who Sylar was, and why Psycho Killer was appropriate. If you'd stopped watching at, say ... episode 2, you might not know. [nods]

Now I just have to start watching Chuck. :(

Chick is a really, really good show. Funny, dramatic, and touching. It's one of my favorite shows currently on TV. I'd definitely recommend getting the DVDs and starting from the beginning, though. And keep in mind that while the first season is good and a lot of fun, the second season is where it really blossoms into an amazing show.

But you have to be prepared for a lot of suspension of disbelief and not looking too closely at "Why would the CIA/SNA choose to do things that way?" :)
