A couple things for my comic book geek friends. I know, so few of you out there... ;)
First, a book that you should read: Soon I will be Invincible by Austin Grossman. One of the quotes on the book that drew me to it is, "Soon I will be Invincible doesn't so much play with the cliches of superhero comics as bathe in their pulpy froth." (Austin American-Statesman)
Really funny look behind the scenes at being a superhero and supervillan. If you're local and want to come by to borrow it, just let me know. Definitely a good read.
