last night (this morning?) i had a dream i danced "singin' in the rain" with an 89 year old fred astaire. yes, i know it was done by gene kelly, but i danced it with fred astaire. and we did it in the snow. influenced by by the mishkabibled "ghost story" i suppose, which is just sent back to netfilx. (i like "ghost story" anyway...nostalgia for the time i actually saw it in theater.)

yesterday i dined with sbx sabx, her babe, and her friend. it was all deutsh easter lunch at a meditteranean place. i had babe envy until the babe got fussy; the babe envy quickly went away and i was glad to eat my turkish breakfast in peace. besides, there can be only one baby in the family until i cease with a certain brand of navel-gazing, better off i should play with other people's children than spawn my own, if i even can. (i'm feeling a wee bit insecure, so i'm bashing myself...)

then continued to re-re-re-do and finish this apt. shelving, furniture assembly, etc. still looks like a pit, and as hc mentioned, fuck until it's glory. so i'll continue over these next few days toward glory, then be done with it again. and damnit pixie, for the fucking last time - get it together, woman! i'm completely annoying myself, not to mention possibly you, dear readers. yeah, insecurity abounds today.
