another update
ok so nothing reall super interesting recently. actually, i did go on a cruise for spring break with the family (minus liz). that was awesome. went to cozumel and costa maya. beautiful. got a tan, some cuban cigars, and got away from work.
been workin like crazy recently. the bar's been slow so i'm not makin as much as i could, but nonetheless still good money. been tryin to avoid goin out and spending money so i could save up for the baby. our baby girl. desiree ivy lopez. who will be born in roughly 2 months. i know, crunch time. every day it seems, priorities change for me. and every day my priorities lean more and more towards my family-to-be. tryin to save up as much money as possible. i just filed for financial aid for school so i could pretty much get free tuition and maybe even a check for the extra money i didn't use for school. that, plus i finally sent in my AP music theory score from junior year to USF, so now i have 6 more credit hours. finally, i'll be a sophomore! lol everyone else is bout to be juniors. fuck it, if they lived 1/2 the life i have since high school they'd know i'm a survivor.
on a funny note, i went to the DMV today so liz could get her permit and i could change the address on my license, only to find that i can't change it because my license is suspended in NY....wtf?! i haven't had a NY license in almost 2 1/2 years (got my FL license during senior year), and payed off all my damn tickets, all of a sudden it's suspended? whatever, i've gotten pulled over twice in FL (no tickets, just bullshit stops) and never had anything said to me bout my license.
i'm really doing a good job focusing and balancing everything in life right now. been going to class and passing my tests, stopped smoking clove cigarettes (which i been doin since last summer) so now i'm doin more at work than takin multiple smoke breaks, lifting my ass off and eating 6-8 good meals a day and been gainin weight, haven't been goin out so just spending a lot of time with my fam and liz, savin money. haven't been drinkin much (except for last night cause my boy charles treated me to a couple drinks at our job). oh, and all my bills are almost done being paid. i have like $250 left on my circuit city card from the $1600 it had on it 6 months ago. my $400 in nextel bills is almost paid for.
i'm glad i handle stress well, because as stressful as this sounds on paper, i'm dealin very well. i've found that the only real stressful thing in my life is florida drivers. just picture a state full of 70 year old NJ drivers. yeah i'm ready to buy a big ass truck to run every dumb driver off the road (which is a lot).
you guys def gotta come down. save up and come with a bunch of people cause i'm out of room in my house. otherwise, you know i'd let you guys crash. so that means you guys gotta save up, and either find a car to drive down and back, or rent a car, while staying at a hotel. i don't care who comes just do it cause you don't know what you're missing. then again, by the time the summer comes, i'll be a parent so it won't be 3 days of straight partying with me, but i can always tell you where the hot spots are to go without me. trust me its worth it.
