well, boils and ghouls, i suppose this'll be my last post before Hallowe'en (i say that as if i regularly post in this thing; i have only to scroll down a few inches to find the post from last halloween), so here is some orange font for you all to enjoy. brilliant! on another note, at the risk of appearing like some kind of of entemophile, i have a new pet today. no, it's not another friend plucked from my beloved snaildom. it's a praying mantis! check him out:
he's sitting on my head right now, alternately licking his feet and his elbows. i found him on my front door this morning and took him to work with me. i do have to maintain my reputation as the strange one around here, after all. anyway, i was going to keep him, but after conducting some research, i've decided that Preacher is probably too high-maintenance for me. apparently i'd have to feed him like 3-4 crickets every day, which sounds like a pain in the ass. plus those little chirping nuisances have become scarcer since the cool weather set in, so i don't know how i'd find 'em. we'll probably spend one magical nite together before i free him in the garden on All Hallow's Eve Eve.
