(no subject)
so, NIN is apparently coming to town for a special someone's birthday. that should be fun. the last time i saw them, i was married. how depressing. the show, however, was amazing. right up to the car that exploded on the side of the road as we exited.
i got alot of comments on my hair today. no one seemed to notice that it was the same color yesterday. i know neon red does tend to blend into the atmosphere though, so i can hardly blame them.
today the cleaning lady, who speaks maybe seven words of english, bought me a Coke for some reason. she's a sweetheart. yesterday while i was working, she threw a rope over the wall (cleverly constructed from trashbags) with a post-it note attached that read "Hola Jenny!" i didn't have the heart to tell her my name isn't Jenny.
on that note, here is a list of names i've been called in the past month by ignorant/indifferent/hard of hearing clients:
