I met up with some friends last night for the first time in at least five months. It was great seeing them again, but I felt like every time I asked a question about what they'd been up to they were thinking in the back of their heads how much they hated what I did...up-and-leaving. I've been trying to remember everyone outside of my family and girlfriend. There are other people out in the world besides those. I have friends out there, but I have such a strangely content time so often without them.
