An open letter to my readership
As a result of inappropriate comments made on my wife's LJ by individuals whose business it wasn't, attacking me and questioning my parenting, my familial role and my relationship with my children, I will be locking down all of my LJ posts, and not just commenting permissions, to "Friends only" so that those individuals and their ilk have one fewer avenue by which to stick their noses into my family's business.
Sadly, this may also prevent some of you who are not on my Friends list - probably because I don't know your LJ username! - from continuing to read my posts. If you are concerned that this change may affect you, please contact me by some other means with your LJ username. If you're someone I want on my Friends list, you probably have some other means of contact or know someone who does. If you don't, despite the fact you probably should, then hopefully we'll be able to reconnect at some point in the future, but I'm sick and tired of this kind of childish shit.
