I received that Scholarship for the conference to KY.
Most people would be happy, huh? LOL
I just received the notice by e-mail and must confirm soon. I was hoping, when I opened the e-mail, that it would say something like this:
"We're sorry to inform you that you were not selected as a recipient for this year's Scholarship. Furthermore, in an odd twist of fate, we have received so many registration forms for this year's Conference that we don't have room for you even if you were paying. We hope you will try again next year. Sincerely, Conference Committee."
Now, *that* would have made me happy. *sigh* But, it was not to be, sadly it read: "Congratulations...blah blah blah".
Am I ungrateful or what? LOL
