And I am still going two hundred miles an hour. Sitting in my software engineering class, this is why I have a laptop after all, and decided to write a brief entry into my poor neglected LJ.
I am sooooooo glad that Obama is our President. Some of his first Executive Orders are, in a word, brilliant and much needed in this day and age. I watched almost all of the Inauguration and have watched closely as he signed in several EOs that I am all about, namely, closing down Gitmo, removing the Locusts Lobbyists from his administration, and salary capping his administrational staff.
All I can say to all of that is that is it about damn time, especially the bit about the Lobbyists...I don't know about you all but, in the private sector, the agreements not to work for another company within a specified time period are in most of the companies' employment contracts. It is about time the government caught up to the real world...
