I never thought a nine hour work shift...
...would be so easy. I was supposed to work today at 10AM-2PM (which I shouldn't have worked anyways, it being the first day of school today) but our full-timer Christina left because she was sick, so I took her place and worked until 5PM. The day went by really fast after the first two hours and I had a super awesome burrito at Taco Del Mar as well. Plus I totally blew my manager out of the water after I had asked him to order more of a 50$ and 80$ accessory pack that I had been selling to customers left and right (accessories have a huge margin on them, and the margin is usually larger on more expensive items), so that got me some mega brownie points.
Ooh, I also made $211.20 the other day. I went to EB Games and traded in 20 of my old games that I don't play much anymore (and James, please don't be too harsh, but I sold Shadow Of The Colossus as well). I've decided that all this money will go to the purchase of a Nintendo Wii whenever it is they are released. I soooo plan to camp outside for these too. I've yet to really splurge on anything since I've had a steady income, so I wholeheartedly look forward to blowing some mega bucks when the time comes.
As for the summer, I'm working around 25-30 hours a week so far, which is totalling me $200+ per week with nothing to spend it on. It seems that everyone has either gotten a summer job, or is just too damned far away. So what does everyone have planned for the 4th of July? It's coming by real soon, and I don't think I've heard a peep out of anyone as far as plans are concerned.
All in all, I'm really tired, I'm doing like three things at once, and this entry is probably all over the place.
