22C feels SO DELICIOUSLY COOL. I was sitting upstairs and there was a slight breeze... It was bliss.
We also lost power twice last night, which was weird. I was worried about working on my computer, because what if the power blinked off again while I was saving?
Instead, I did some reading about how ancient beer was made. Sometimes, they made it by partially baking bread and then soaking *that* in water. The resulting beer was often cloudy with 'gross particles' in it, so they drank it out of a straw. It was pretty nutritious, and I believe less alcoholic than what beer normally is today, so they drank it as a substitute for water. Everyone drank it, men, women, and kids.
